Christian McLeod, a Toronto based visual artist, born in Barry’s Bay Ontario in 1969, graduated from the Toronto School of Art in 1992. McLeod has worked and exhibited as a painter for over 15 years. He has travelled extensively, including Moscow and Leningrad, and has enjoyed residencies in West Germany, Mexico, and the island of Ibiza in Spain. He currently resides in Toronto.

McLeod has exhibited in numerous private galleries and participated in public art events both nationally and internationally. These include Toronto’s Nuit Blanche, Art with Heart auction in support of Casey House, Gallery Page and Strange, Halifax, Craig Scott Gallery and La Parete Gallery, Toronto.  McLeod's work is included in many permanent collections including The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Seneca College and The University of Architecture of Valencia, Spain. McLeod's works are held in many private national and international collections.

In McLeod's new collection of work, he continues his exploration of contemporary landscape using his signature styled, impasto applied oil paint. A portion of sale proceeds from his current exhibition, "PARTiCLE COLLiSIONS", at The Al Green Gallery, will go to the Children's Aid Foundation, supporting enrichment activities through IGNITE THE SPARK FUND.
