Since her childhood, colors and drawing have always captured her interest. Drawing courses attended at the Art Museum of Québec City, collegial studies in Visual Arts and baccalaureate at the University Laval (Visual Arts) made it clear to Madeleine that she was going to pursue this wonderful adventure... She has several years experience as a teacher of photography with College students and as a graphic designer and illustrator. Madeleine devotes great energy and attention to painting. In the Nineties, the surrounding nature captured her inspiration and creativity. Her works reflect an environment that is interpreted with fantasy and freedom. Using bright colors and textures, her paintings express the way she sees this world. "To paint is to look at the world which surrounds us with amazement as a child does... this artist we can find in every one of us." She participates in several exhibitions and symposiums where her talents are recognized and awarded. Her works are displayed in private galleries and are part of corporative and private collection in Canada and abroad.
