Adrienne Dagg is a figure painter currently working and living in Toronto, ON. She completed her BFA studying painting at Concordia University in 2011 and has exhibited in numerous Canadian galleries and Fine Art Fairs since then. Adrienne’s artistic development is an ongoing process. To date she’s participated in monthly exhibitions, built a client base, embarked on numerous community building projects and has been recognized for her artistic achievements in both 2012 and 2013. Her painting exists within the traditions of narrative figure painting. She works primarily with oils, however does use drawing and sculptor at times to better understand the forms she wishes to depict. Through study of both historical and contemporary art, Adrienne takes her stylistic inspiration from the early French Impressionists and the 19th century realists while exploring contemporary themes and concepts.
