Russna Kaur was born in Brampton, Ontario in 1991. Kaur works in a variety of mediums including photography (both analogue and digital), painting, and drawing. She completed a BA with a major in Fine Arts: Honours Studio Practice at The University of Waterloo in June 2013. She has exhibited works throughout Ontario in cities such as Toronto, Waterloo, Stratford and Brampton. She has also exhibited in Vancouver, BC. During her time at the University of Waterloo, Kaur was the curator of the on-campus student gallery, The Artery.
