My preferred medium is oil and many of my mural sized paintings are inspired by visual art, music and literature.
I have a degree in Fine Arts and Art History and have been a practicing artist and art teacher since graduation from McMaster University in 1997. I have exhibited my work at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, at the Gallery in Ancaster and at McMaster University.
My favorite artists are Matisse and Sargent and I love classical music, especially opera. One of my large paintings is based on Wagner\'s Ring and another on Mahler\'s Song of the Earth.
